Göbekli Tepe’s monumental structures belong to the Pre-Pottery Neolithic, approximately 9600–8200 BCE. Its T-shaped limestone pillars carry images of wild animals. Look carefully at the forms, while keeping archaeological evidence separate from modern interpretation.
